Dr. Mojgan Sami has been engaged in transformational scholarship and community building for more than 30 years. She is a transdisciplinary scholar with technical expertise in urban planning, international development, public policy and public health. Currently a researcher and lecturer at the California State University, Fullerton. Dr. Sami focuses on the conceptual frameworks that frame relationships between individuals, communities and institutions and their interactions in social and ecological environments.
